Hello, my name is Christina and I was a happy owner of a Hotpoint WM11 until today when it wouldn’t want to drain the water inside. The fact is that it just skipped the draining part in the program like it wasn’t designed to evacuate, for every step of the washing: draining the main wash water, rinsing waters, etc, it just continued the process having the main water inside until centrifuge (that looked creepy – spinning so fast with water and detergent inside made a very heavy foam). Please tell me what might be the problem giving the symptoms and recommend me please the components that I should buy from you. Thanks a lot.

Hi this sounds like one of 3 faults on your Hotpoint wm11 washing machine. Remember when ordering any parts this appliance it has a letter after that model number as they made two types Hotpoint wm11p or Hotpoint wm11w. The video is below and remember we have a whole section on our website on video tutorials

Faults

1 there could be a blockage in the sump hose under the sink if you have it T-ed into the sink unit or a blockage in the filter trap on the machine (see diagram below)

2 The pump could be broken or warn (see our diagram and watch video on how to change the pump it will help you if you have not done it before.

3 There could be no electric getting to the pump this is a hard one to diagnose you might need an engineer.

I am looking for a replacement inner glass panel for the main oven door for my Lamona HJA 3300.The glass seemed to shatter for no reason.Is this a common problem and is it easy to replace?

Yes this is a common problem with cookers that have this glass fitted. You can see the glass as item 3324 on the drawing below. It is simply held in place by a few screws therefore easy to change.

I have a Hoover HNC180-80 tumble dryer which makes a lot of noise when rotating & turning. Is this a common fault or an easy fix? Also do you have any diagrams to help me locate the correct parts?

This is probably due to the rear bearing being worn or collapsed. It appears to be a simple phosphor bronze type which can be easily replaced.

You can see it as item 218 on the enclosed drawing.

Hi Seen you Video on you Tube … very useful I have a Credaplan Cordialle 48243 Single Oven. The grill works fine and the element gets hot. The oven however is not working, the element is not getting hot at all and the oven fan is not spinning. 1) Do you have an oven element? If so how much does it cost? 2) Do you have the fan Motor? If so how much does it cost? 3) Also do you have a 25w oven bulb for this oven? Cheers

Fault:      Faulty heater connection or one shot stat.Check wiring connections on J4, between pin 1 & 2 resistance should be 48 ohms. Check one shot stat and lower heater.

Hi, hope you can help. I have a Belling XOU270 fan oven. The top and bottom elements work fine. The fan element doesn’t heat up and the fan doesn’t rotate. If the element has blown, would that knock out the fan too? Or do I need to buy a fan and element? Or could is be something else? Cheers
